Description

North facing section several hundred feet uphill from Diamondback Buttress routes and just West of Diamondback's descent.

Getting There

Take the North Gully Trail a short distance (about 500ft.) where a mostly level trail splits off south to Diamondback's routes. At the buttress go uphill (West) several hundred feet where some large pines reside.

[Hide Comment] Several years ago, Chris Hubbard and Brian Spiewak wandered thru here and stumbled upon this buttress. Likely others had seen this area but didn't see the potential. They did these routes ground up and established a great addition to the area. They put up the routes the same day Alex soloed El Cap, hence the names. Jul 22, 2022
