Description Suggest change

This is the upper tier in the middle section of the Far Cliff.

Though a bit of a hike and disconnected from the majority of Sundown climbing, this crag offers a few incredible, largely gear-protected vertical face climbs and is easily combined with the other routes on the main Far Cliff (Thwarthog [ see Far Cliff - Left End ] would make a good warm-up). Rap in from the top and clean your chosen route on the way down.

Getting There Suggest change

Take the left branch of the boulder loop trail. Once you hike to near the GPS pin for the crag, there should be a branch to an overlook. Look for a double bolt anchor down and to the right, on a lower ledge. [ Age of anchor unknown ]  rappel to the base of the wall (midway along the Far Crag). I didn't time the approach but your first time will probably take 45 mins, give or take.
