Description Suggest change

The "first" bouldering area on the Hidden Valley approach. This will be the first exposed rock you see as you're crossing the muskeg. The area consists of row after row of thin, fallen blocks all radiating out from the same centre point. Many have fallen so that they can't be climbed, but those that haven't provide difficult and interesting bouldering. It's one of the more unique areas I've seen.

The area has several boulders and walls with established routes.  At the back of the area is a tall, vertical wall.  It's the current face of the granite knob all of the "dominoes" have fallen off of.  It has three sections.  On the left is a 20' section that is the further "forward" (toward the bog).  It ends in a blunt prow.  Another 20' section goes straight back from the prow and ends in a cracked corner.  A final 30' section goes straight to the right from this and has a few featured cracks and faces.  It ends in a boulder jumble.

In front of this is a thin boulder leaning away from it at a 35-degree angle.  There are slab climbs on the back and thin, overhung routes on the front.  A large crack splits all the way through it and can be climbed on either side.

The next row of boulders out from this is much thicker.  On climber's left are a few tall, slabby boulders with terrible falls.  On the right side of this row before the boulders become too short to climb is the large boulder split by the Way of the Fist crack.  In front of this row is the standalone Monolith.

Getting There Suggest change

See the main "right" approach description in the Hidden Valley - this will be the area you get to after the first bushwhack past the Staircase Boulders.
