Description
Eve's Glade is a small clearing with a handful of fun, easier climbs. The short walls and flat landings make this a great place to bring somebody who is new to outdoor climbing. Also, this provides some nice warm-ups to the harder problems at the nearby Theta and Slanted Boulders.
The main feature of this area is a large, short boulder. The side with the vertical wall, which I call the "main wall", has the best climbing. Around the corner from the main wall is a long but very short, overhanging section. There is also a slab wall separate from the main boulder in the back side of the area, opposite from the main wall.
Getting There
Starting from the Flynn Rink parking lot, follow the Woodland Path/Cross-Fells Trail west. At the intersection with Half Mile Path, take a left. You will shortly arrive a rocky path to your right. Follow this path up, and you should see a large boulder in a small clearing on your left. If you instead took a right, you would arrive at the Hobbit Boulder, which is about 30 seconds from Eve's Glade. The Theta Boulder is also 1-2 minute walk away.
