Tacul East and Pointe Lachenal South Faces

International > Europe > France > .Snow, Ice & Mixed > Mont Blanc Range

Description

Ice/mixed lines easily accessed from the Midi. A step up from the Triangle du Tacul, but most offer more of a low commitment alpine cragging feel than full blown alpinism. Easily accessed by skies.

Getting There

From the Midi lift, head down the vallee blanche voie normale. Once you pass between pointe lachenal and the Gros Rognon turn skiers right. The east face of Mont Blanc du Tacul is in front of you, the South face of Pointe Lachenal is on your right.
