Split Boulders

California > Northeast Calif… > Susanville Area > Lone Valley Boulders

Description

A small cluster of boulders which have everything from highball Boulder problems, protectable cracks, a sport route and even an offwidth. There are anchors on top of the boulders which can be used to set up a TR, or used to work a route before bouldering or leading.

Getting There

Drive up the main access road past several boulders. Look for a big flat grassy area on the right side of the road which could park several cars. There is a pile of old rotting wood just beyond where you park which lets you know you’re in the right area. Walk across the wood debris heading uphill and trending to the right. You should see the boulders ahead.
