Kullaberg is a nature reserve. Access to the north coast area between Blå Mal and Visitgrottan is prohibited from March 1st to July 15th due to bird protection. The protected area extends 200 meters inland and 50 meters out to sea. Also use extra care accessing the neighboring areas because of bird protection. Camping in the reserve is prohibited at all times except at the designated site by the light house parking lot. If this campground is full, there is a commercial campground just south of Mölle.

Description

Just southeast of the main cliffs of Åkersberget are two low angle slabs. The northern of the two slabs has three bolts on top and is frequently used by a local guiding company. The southern slab has two excellent routes and is nearer to the ocean.

The northern slab is shorter in height than the southern slab. While the rock is featured enough to climb anywhere, there are three logical lines on the left (northern) slab and two on the right (southern) slab.

Getting There

Drive about 4km west from Mölle and park in the large parking lot near the campground. The coordinates for this parking lot are 56.301360,12.457117.

From the parking lot, walk south on a yellow marked hiking trail that initially goes along the west side of the campground. About 200 meters from the parking lot, you'll encounter a section of trail that has a wooden boardwalk. At the far end of the boardwalk is a gate. Pass through the gate and continue downhill (southwest) on the yellow trail to a second gate (coordinates of 56.298700,12.453340; about 150 meters from the first gate).

Pass through the second gate. The yellow trail continues downhill and a red trail heads right, contouring along the hillside. Follow the yellow trail downhill another 50 meters. A trail will head left at this point, toward a small cabin. Use this trail to access the top of the slabs (coordinates of 56.298105, 12.452848).
