Description
Below PATC Wall is a hidden chasm known as The Fortress. The area is aptly named because it is surrounded on all sides by rock and can be difficult to find. While only a few established rock routes are here there have been multiple ice climbs done in the winter since the area sees little sun and tends to seep.
Getting There
Descend down on the Key Hole side of PATC Wall but continue a few hundred feet down hill of PATC Wall trending slightly right. The area is basically a large chasm that drops off of a small slab with two hallways to enter on either side. It will take some trial and error to find the hallway entrances. There is also a bolt anchor at the top of the slab that makes it possible to rapp in from the top.
