Description
The Magnaghi Towers are home to a huge amount of routes and some of the best, easiest access multipitch & 'sprad' climbing on the grignetta.
Getting There
From Piani Resinelli, head to Rifugio Porta. From here, take trail no. 7. Follow this until your reach a fork, and turn right on trail no. 3, it should be marked with signs pointing towards "Magnaghi", "Il Sigaro" and "Canalone Porta".
On trial No. 3, traverse and scramble towards the towers until you reach Canalone Porta. Turn and follow the rocky gully uphill, taking trail No. 2, until you reach the base of Il Sigaro. The base of Il Sigaro is a flat area protected by a roof, and most of the routes start from right around here. 1-1.30 hours.
