Description
A limestone crag with short bouldery routes. The approach is short and flat, making for a nice alternative to the main crag at the top of the mountain.
The crag is split into three sections: the main wall, another section a bit to the right of that, and a hidden inner wall in the center of the hill.
All the anchors have carabiners. Depending on how they rest on the wall, some of the anchors have both carabiners installed facing outward, so when you clip in don't try to twist them around to be opposing as it will just mess with your rope.
Getting There
Start on the trail to Pasillo Frío. Once you see the section of the trail that's neatly lined with rocks on both sides, walk into the clearing on the left and follow the trail as it meanders away from the main trail.
Once the path starts uphill, look up ahead and you should be able to notice a bunch of red tape that marks a barbed wire fence, some twenty or thirty steps ahead. Follow the fence to the right and walk around it, then continue following the trail. After maybe 100 feet, you'll start noticing a clean rock face on your left, behind the semi-forested landscape. This is the climbing area. You should see some clear or open paths through the brush.
To reach the Rocklantis wall, follow the trail to get to the cavern, then head left along the main wall and you'll find a fixed rope at the end. Use the rope to scramble up the rocks. Once at the top, go forward a few steps and you'll find a fixed rope to help you lower into the pit that's in front of the Rocklantis wall.
