Access Issue:
Details
Much of the surrounding area is private property with public trail access, but GLR was donated to IRLC back in the early 2000's which gives it free reign in terms of public access to hunting, as well as climbing.
Access Issue: Unsure of Property Boundary
Details
I believe this is on IRLC property but I cannot find the exact boundary line yet. Will update.
Description
This is a northern facing set of cliffs with beautiful, tall, steep, and featureless walls up to 20+ feet. Some of the most sections are 15+ degrees overhanging with thin tips cracks and small crimps. A very nice and clean set of walls with moderate to great rock quality.
Getting There
This area is off trail and a bit confusing. From the Alley, continue down the the gulley North East for 5 or so minutes. you will eventually come to an open hilltop. Continue North East and find an old logging/ hunting road. Follow this uphill for another few minutes. You will arrive at the area with the wall revealing itself on your right. It is easily missed so pay close attention. Several small boulders mark the real entrance to the main walls of this area.
