Description

Two tall, Southeast-facing cliffs low on the mountain. Visible from the road with a steep 15-20 minute approach. Currently only hosts two multi-pitch routes with a plethora of other opportunities.

Getting There

Park at the pullout at approximately mile 3.6 on Catalina Highway. This pullout is on the left (going uphill) and is about 500 feet below the 4000 foot elevation sign. If you get to the 4000 foot sign, turn around and park at the first pullout downhill from the 4000 foot sign. This is the same parking area for Lockdown Rock and Cactus Ranch!

Follow cairns up a steep and hillside for 15-20 minutes, bearing right of small cliff bands when necessary. Arrive at What's Golden.

NOTE: You can also park up the road at the parking area for the main Colosseum crags. There is a small branch off the main trail that will lead leftward to Golden Wall. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION UNDER WHATS GOLDEN AND LOOK AT THE PHOTOS FOR THE AREA/SUBAREAS TO PREVENT YOU FROM GETTING LOST.
