Description Suggest change

This generally shady cliff is located within the MoonRock Camp (approximate coordinates of 29.499852, 35.430094). The camp has previously been called the Wadi Rum Nature Tours desert camp. The owner of the camp, Khaled Adoeh, gave us permission to climb on the wall. Prior to our climbing here in early 2019, one route had been attempted on the right (north) side of the wall up a left-facing corner system. There is an anchor about 45 feet off the ground on that line.

Getting There Suggest change

This cliff is located about eight kilometers south of Wadi Rum Village (approximate coordinates of 29.499852, 35.430094). The easiest thing to do is to book a night at MoonRock Camp ( moonrockcamp.com) and it's a short walk from your tent to the crag. The crag is clearly visible from any of the tents within the camp. Walk past the bathroom building and up a short slope to reach the base of the varnished cliff.
