Description
Large boulder by the river rich with holds on a steeply overhanging face and a dihedral that makes for a large variety of problems. A lot of good moves on this block, but it might not be the dryest or cleanest on any given day (like much of the rock in the park).
Getting There
This boulder is just beyond the guard rail on the Rim Road side of the covered bridge. If you walk across the covered bridge from the Kildoo side, cross over the guard rail towards it end and follow a small trail around a large mossy slab. This large mossy slab is in fact the Hidden in Plain Sight boulder. As of 2021 there is a fixed line to assist with the easy scramble along the short trail.
Please keep in mind that the parking lot at the covered bridge is extremely small, and in the interest of maintaining a low profile and impact, it's preferable to park in a larger or less trafficked area if you're planning to boulder here.
