Description

A small freestanding boulder right at the base of the Potholes Trail.

Close to the car. Minimal pads needed, pretty fun little problems. Good for a quick stop.

Getting There

Just of the west side of the bottom of the Potholes Trail. Park at South Shore Beach. Walk across the tracks, hang a right on the Grottos Trail and after a few minutes you will arrive at the Potholes Trail and the boulder.
