Description Suggest change

Near the top of Sentinal Dome trail there is a very large boulder which looks untouched and amazing. A high ball in most regards. The good routes are somewhat hidden on the left and rear side of the boulder ( when facing from the trail).

A little further up is another boulder, much smaller, which is perched atop another larger boulder. This also shows some promising routes to be had.

This area is a little remote to go just for bouldering, but if camping at Bridalveil Campground or hiking to Sentinel Dome/Glacier Point be sure to bring some climbing shoes and maybe a brush!

Getting There Suggest change

Along Glacier Point Road you will find the Taft Point Trailhead. This trailhead is also the trailhead for the Sentinel Dome hike (not to be confused with Four Mile Trailhead) the trailhead will have signs for Sentinel Dome and is a fairly easy 1.1 mile hike to the top. Along the hike are a couple of hard to miss boulders a little more than 3/4 of a mile in.
