Flat Rocks is a climbing area with many historic ascents, but it wasn't until July 2021 when the City of Lancaster officially recognized climbing as a legal activity at the park. This area was originally established in 1999 by a handful of local climbers including Pete Lynch, Donn Ketchum, and Jeremy Clum. 

Keller Kirn Park (where Flat Rocks is located) is also home to the Flat Rocks Disc Golf course. Watch out for flying discs while walking out to the climbing areas and be respectful of the other users at the park.
