Access Issue: This cliff is under the liability insurance of the FQME Details

This cliff is under the liability insurance of the Fédération Québécoise de la Montagne et de l'Escalade (FQME). Residents of Canada need to have:
-FQME 'Accès Montagne' membership (55$)
-For members of the Alpine Club of Canada an FQME 'Accès Montagne' upgrade (30$)
-Or purchasing a 10$ day pass (possible online).

The site of Parc d'Escalade de Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez is best known for its numerous routes, but all along the cliff there are between 10 and 15 boulders, some of them undeveloped. The majority of the known problems are rated below V5 and provide a good introduction to outdoor bouldering.

It's important to bear in mind that the boulders were developed between 2019 and 2021, so you can expect some holds to be brittle. This also means that boulder grades are subject to change. Keep a reserve when selecting a problem, and make sure you have an adequate level of protection.

Le site du Parc d'Escalade de Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez est surtout connu pour ses nombreuses voies mais tout le long de la falaise de situent entre 10 à 15 blocs, certains d'entre eux n'ayant pas été développés. La majorité des problèmes connus se situent dans des cotations sous V5 et constituent une belle introduction pour les gens voulant s'initier à l'escalade de bloc extérieure.

Il est important de considérer que les blocs ont été développés entre 2019 et 2021 et qu'il faut s'attendre à ce que des prises soient cassantes. Cela fait en sorte également que les cotes des blocs sont susceptibles de bouger. Gardez-vous une réserve lorsque vous sélectionnez un problème et soyez sûrs d'avoir un niveau de protection adéquat.
