Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

One of the larger boulders nestled a few hundred yards up the sandy wash on the approach to the Lost Horse Wall.

Getting There

From Park Blvd, drive down Lost Horse Road and park in the 5th pullout on the left. Walk another 30 meters down the road and turn left at the large sandy wash, following it East for another 200 meters.
