Description

A very unique and aesthetic formation reminiscent of larger spires with a sword edge arete climb fit for a king.

Getting There

(GPS: 43.870543, -103.445776) As you crest the approach up the drainage and see the landmark steep granite face in front of you, turn right (west) and look for a pitch-black burned tree stump maybe 100 feet away and slightly uphill. Excalibur sits directly downhill of this burned tree to the north and should be immediately recognizable as a pointy, spire like boulder.
