Description Suggest change

A collection of boulders on the East side of Turtle Mountain. There are two very tall main formations which make the area easy to identify. Several outlying boulders dot the hillside which adds to the mix, but landings can often be problematic. At the top of the hill is the Upper Plateau, which has a good collection of boulders of all sizes.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the main Fort Sage Rd until it makes a wide sweeping turn right (East) around the toe of Turtle  Mountain. Follow the road around the backside (East Side) and take the first right turn off up a narrow dirt road. Park at the Tirtle Mountain sign about 1/4 mile up the road.
