Description

There are many ice flows in Weehawken Creek. Probably only a few of them are worth the approach. A full tour up the creek would be quite an adventure.

Getting There

From US Highway 550 south of Ouray, turn right (south) onto the Camp Bird Road as for the Camp Bird climbs. After 2.7 miles, reach the Weehawken Creek Trailhead on the right. It is typically plowed.
