Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Reggie Dome is the first formation to the east of the Boy Scout Trailhead parking lot and offers some bouldering possibilities.

Getting There

Hike east from the parking lot at the Boy Scout Trailhead and follow an old dirt road east to the first large formation. The approach takes 10 minutes or so from the parking area.
