Description
This main area of the crag contains the famous Umbrella Boulder, which houses the old school classic lines "Satan's Sister Sally" and "Satan on a Halfshell". Its also home to a new school compression problem known as "Bumbershoot Bonanza". This is a beautiful boulder is littered with zig-zagging striations making is very aesthetic.
This area also includes several smaller boulders that are found right next the the large Umbrella Boulder. These two smaller boulders include the Sick Man Boulder and the Heir of Fire Boulder. The Heir of Fire Boulder's potential is still being discovered, and many new problems will be climbed on that boulder in the near future.
Getting There
Take Short Cut Trail or the road in order to reach the Entrance Boulders. Follow the main trail heading West. This trail runs more or less parallel with the asphalt road. The trail curves rightwards and trends up a slight hill to a large scooping overhanging boulder. This is the Umbrella Area.
