This is a large boulder that stretches from the Block Area to the Entrance Boulders. There are several difficult and obscure lines found on this boulder and probably potential for another eight or so new problems.

This boulder can be accessed from the Entrance Boulders by walking around Bobby's Boulder and to the uphill side of the Quartz Block. This boulder is found directly behind the friction slabs of the Quartz Block. This mentioned downhill side of The Rift Boulder is characterized by long but short overhang.

Another way to access this boulder is by following the approach to The Block, walking around that boulder and this rock lies next to it. The face facing The Block is another overhang with a few problems on it.
