Access Issue: Seasonal raptor closures and some private land
Details
Prudent to check locally for access. Seasonal closures and private land may limit or prohibit access.
Description
A shorter cragging area tucked in to the south of the more prominent Trois Cimes de la Galère.
With a short hike, nice environs, flat staging areas and a number of routes available from 4b to 7c, Petite Galère is a fun spot to get in a few pitches or spend the whole day.
Climbing primarily on south and southeast aspects on nice limestone. Some cracks, mostly slab to steep face climbing.

Getting There
From the tourist office on the east end of Gemenos, take the D2 east for 4.2km. Park at the hair pin turn in the small lot (north side of the road). Parking lot is right under the Trois Cime de la Galère. Don’t block the gate (access for fire suppression, etc).
Walk up the road/trail for around 1.2km for 20 minutes. The cluster of crags north of the road is Petite Galère.
