Description Suggest change

This is a great cliff to visit on a day trip from Busan, as access is quite easy if you have a vehicle. The approach is negligible, as you park just one minutes from the base of the wall. The climbs are mostly vertical to overhanging. The cliff has 20 routes total, with a range of from 5.7 - 5.13 - something for everyone! All the names and grades are written at the base.

Routes are between 20 - 30m long, so be sure to bring a rope that is at least 60m. You'll need up to 16 draws for some of these routes!

Getting There Suggest change

Type in or copy paste the Korean address 경상남도 밀양시 단장면 태룡리 225-6 to get to crag. You might need to pay 5k to park if/when the land owner makes his/her rounds to see if anyone parked there. Don't argue, be respectful, and pay it, or jeopardize the crag being closed for everyone for good. It has been closed before due to stupid people.

OR

From Miryang, take 24 E towards Pyochungsa (if you're rained out-- visit this temple-- one of Korea's most beautiful!), and hang a right on 1077, still following the signs to the temple. The rock is on the right, behind the Cafe. Park on the unpaved road just after the restaurant, as their parking is limited! See the picture for details, but the trail is quite easy to find, just behind the cafe.

Busses run from Miryang to Pyochungsa-- stopping along the way. Ask the driver to let you off at the Noblian or the closest stop!
