Warning Access Issue: Rappelling Anchors Consideration DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

A large granite dome which features great boulders and a scenic overlook. The local Boy Scout troop also practices rappelling off of fixed anchors here.

Getting There Suggest change

-Parking: Area A (GPS: 45.196902,-88.421053)

-Hike ~1 mile along the orange marked Boy Scout trail. Just before reaching the summit of the dome, you will have to jump across a small river (with an awesome waterfall). The boulders are located either along the trail just before the summit or near the base of the dome. To reach the base of the dome, continue following the orange trail past the summit until it descends a series of rocky steps to ground level. Bushwhack around the base to find the various boulders. See pictures for details.

GPS (of summit): 45.203887, -88.419340
