There are many seasonal raptor closures with varying dates and specific boundaries. These generally effect The Monument, Kiss of the Lepers, Picnic Lunch Wall and/or Smith Rock group, and possibly elsewhere. These usually run from February to the beginning of August, but each closure is usually shorter than this, and is dependent on the birds' behavior. Description

This 20 ft boulder sits a few feet off the trail far below the red wall, this is a decent warm up hosting a number of V0-V2s. Most of the rock is a little chossy but there are solid chunks. Some holds have broken off since the guidebook was published.

Getting There

After crossing the river turn right and follow the river trail for a few hundred feet, you'll see the obvious boulder on your left a little way after the cave.
