Description

A well established area of 70-80 routes where the rock climbing is more famous than the actual mountain. This sport climbing area boasts some of the most difficult climbs in the country, but has a high number of routes in all the grades from 5.10 to 5.14. The grades may seem a big sandbagged from years of polishing, but the routes are hard, rewarding, and fun. The rock is gneiss but is bubbly and sometimes textured like limestone.

60m rope and 14 quickdraws should allow you to do any routes on the wall. All of the difficult routes in the cave have permadraws.

The crag receives sun all day and can get hella crowded on weekends. This place is very difficult to get to without a car.

Getting There

Set your GPS to 조비산가든 (Jobisan garden) which is a restaurant with parking where you start your approach. You will see a set of metal stairs leading to a small shrine/cemetery. Go up the stairs and stay right, in which you should see a trail. Keep following this trail up the mountain for about 6-7 minutes and turn left at a fork. Go for about 6-7 minutes further until you see another fork in the road. Here turn right. In about 2 minutes you should see the crag pop out of seemingly nowhere. If you get lost, look for the giant gneiss towers while walking and you should be able to find it without too much difficulty.
