Description

Two tiers of mossy walls on the left side if the road just before the Monte Cristo parking lot. None of the climbs I put up are great, but it's something to do if camping in the area (like I was with family). Wall has a decent bit of potential once cleaned. I might bolt some stuff at some point.

The lower tier has a number of ways up ranging from 5.6 to 5.easy, or you can bushwack up through the trees on the ro right up to the old railroad hiking trail. The upper tier is right in front if the little sign commemorating the railroad that was operational in the 1890's.

Getting There

GPS location is very much approximate. Take Mountain Loop Highway about 15(ish) miles past Verlot until you see the Monte Cristo parking lot. Probably hard to miss with a million and a half cars. Mossy Loaf is the first wall you see next to the road on the left before reaching the Monte Cristo lot.
