West Monument Creek follows the canyon North of Blodgett Peak from USAFA to the Northfield Reservoir. There is a well-established trail and dirt road in the canyon with access to many potential climbing areas.

Getting There Suggest change

West Monument Creek is located on the South end of the US Air Force Academy. From the Southgate entrance, follow South Gate Boulevard, and turn onto Pine Drive. Then turn onto West Monument Creek Road, and drive to the Falcon Trail pulloff (38.97358, -104.89023) just before the gate at the entrance to the water treatment plant. Then hike on West Monument Creek Trail 713 into the canyon.
