Description
This area includes all of the climbing that is typically accessed via the invasion parking area or campsite. It also includes Fern Gully, which is typically accessed by parking at the 'New Font' parking, but exists on the same invasion cliff line.
In this area, there is steep to vertical sport climbing and bouldering. There is very little for the inexperienced climber, with the high quality bouldering starting at V5, and the high quality sport climbing starting at 5.11. But if you are looking for high quality boulders v5-12 or high quality sport climbing in the 5.12-5.13 range, you have come to the right place. You can camp at the top of the straight away, which is the typical 'invasion camping', or continue past it on the rough narrow road (above the rock outcropping) to the "Dub's Cave" approach/Camping.

Getting There
After turning onto Cowell Rd. from Hwy 7. (6560 or 1204, see Cowell description), travel about 5 miles. You will enter a stretch where there are few houses, then the road will dip down and to the right very close to a house on the left with some broken down cars about. Immediately after this property, there will be a turn on the left which you will take. You will go over a cattle guard. Parking for invasion crag, the sex boulder, and the land of the little people will be marked by a cairn on the right a few hundred feet past the cattle guard. The invasion campsite is up this road further, right above the rock outcropping where the dirt road begins to bend left. Dub's cave approach and camping is off of the faint road up and past the rock outcropping and invasion camp site. this spot is more secluded, but a high-clearance vehicle is recommended for accessing it.
