Hohe Wand Rock Climbing

Hohe Wand is one of the biggest climbing areas close to vieanna. It is located in the nature park Hohe Wand, which also offers a lot of other attractions especially for kids and families (a petting zoo with alpine animals and short interactive hikes). While scoping out climbers below, you can enjoy the view from Skywalk viewing platform (located on top of Sonnenuhrwand). There are camping opportunities inside the park on first come first serve basis (prices are reasonable, no private sites, bathrooms). Entrance fee to the park is 2.5 € per person and on weekends additional 2 € per car for the toll road. There are severel restaurants/hotels (Gasthof) located within the park offering cold beer and food after your climb.
