Description
The beautiful Goat River runs nearly through Creston. These cliffs on the river above an abandoned hydro-electric dam make for an idyllic day at the crag.
The rock is predominately made up of Argillite - a fine-grained sedimentary rock. This makes for angular, incut holds in all directions and tclimbing is fun and interesting.

Getting There
Follow highway 3 east through Creston/Erickson. Go 1 km past RaceTrak gas station and on a slightly uphill corner, pull off between concrete barriers onto a wide area next to the highway. You will see a stand of power poles/cables with yellow signage around them. Follow the trail under the poles and down over the train tracks. Take the first right on the trail after the tracks and follow that down A steep trail to the cliffs.
