Beyoğlu

Description

Beyoğlu is a conglomerate sector consisting of a large sweeping wall and a couple large boulders at the bottom of the main cliff. This area has 14+ routes ranging from 5c to 7b+ with the majority of the climbs falling in the 6th grade. The wall receives morning and early afternoon shade. Some routes in this area is quite a bit more vegetatied than other sectors in the canyon while other routes are spotless.

Getting There

Beyoğlu is approached from the lower parking area. Walk to the canyon rim and admire the bird's eye view of your destination. Turn left and follow a series of trails that weave their way to the canyon floor. Continue walking down Canyon and past the base of sector Carnival and through a large boulder field. The wall is located around the corner on your left as the canyon oens up into a wider valley.
