Description
The China Wall is a large and long cropping of good rock in Logan Canyon. Most of the climbing in this area is south-facing with a somewhat steeper and longer approach then those found in the lower Logan Canyon. An area with rich history, the China Wall has some of the canyon's earlier ascents along with some of the canyon's proudest lines.
Currently, sport climbing dominates the China Wall crags. The oldest area here, the China Cave Headwall is home to traditional lines put up in the 70's and 80's, however the climbing here is currently closed and respected due to the protection of Maguire Primrose.
The more popular areas here contain some superb and solid sport lines of the highest difficulty. Three and four star quality lines litter the right-sided Main Wall's steep, limestone cropping.
