Description Suggest change

Medium-sized boulder overlooking part of the river. It's mostly vertical with some overhang low down. A horizontal crack/seam runs through half of it. Named for the lizards and garter snake seen nearby.

Getting There Suggest change

From the campground, walk across the bridge to the other side. From there follow the river ~2000 ft. until you can see the big granite hill ahead and to your right on the other side. The boulder should be on your left up a little hill.
