Main Area

Colorado > Alpine Rock > Indian Peaks > Swissco (bouldering)

Description

This is where the highest concentration of boulders are in the area and it receives the most traffic - for a good reason. Most climbs here are quality, and they are all located in one of the most beautiful settings anywhere.

Getting There

From the parking at Fall River Reservoir, hike up and around the right side of the lake. On the other side of the reservoir, cross a decaying log bridge and follow the trail up the hill to the edge of treeline and a beautiful waterfall on the right. Continue up the valley, taking care to lower impact. Hike into the valley proper where it flattens out and walk up the valley until Boulder #1 and the big talus becomes visible. Approach time is approximately 45 minutes, half flat, half uphill.
