Description
The Carquinez Strait is a narrow waterway which empties the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers into the San Francisco Bay. It's flanked by grass covered rolling hills that have the occasional sand stone boulder. The area is made up of a mixture of public land (East Bay Regional Park) and private land.
