Description

The area is pretty wooded but does have sun exposure. Beautiful and has a trail that leads from parking, right to the boulder.

Getting There

Option One:

Plug "45.281604, -113.946507" into google maps. Apple maps will try to take you the long way. This will take you to where you can park. Then plug in "45.281397, -113.946419" to find the actual boulder, follow the trail above parking south for about 25 meters until you see the big boulder on your left.

Option Two: From Salmon

Follow Highway 93 north for 3.5 miles and turn left to the fairgrounds. Follow Diamond Creek Rd for about 1.8 miles and turn left onto Diamond Creek at the stone wall and Trailer Home. Follow diamond Creek for 6.5 miles until you reach the split. Turn left up Wallace Creek for .2 miles to the first hair point turn and park. To find the actual boulder, follow the trail above parking south for about 25 meters until you see the big boulder on your left.
