Description

The Wilson massif hosts a number of ice climbs (see mountainproject.com/area/10…) and several quartzite towers. The towers are sparsely developed due to their proximity to Edmonton/Calgary, as well as their somewhat substantial approaches. However, there are several established lines on each tower!

Getting There

Head for Saskatchewan Crossing (the approximate half way mark on the Icefields Parkway between Lake Louise and Jasper, or the West end of the David Thompson Highway). Mt. Wilson is the looming monster North/East of the David Thompson Highway/Icefields Parkway intersection. See your desired sub-area for parking and approach instructions.
