Description
Middle Wall has climbs that have a little bit higher grading than the other areas. The climbs here can be challenging, but are very unique with different movements that aren't generally used at Area 31 such as heel hooks and unique with the interesting rock formations. When doing climbs under the roof, a crash pad may be necessary in case you fall and hit the ground. The three sets of bolts are located on top by the large overhanging boulder. If you're looking for more challenging climbs, this would be the area to focus on.
Getting There
Middle Wall is located just left from Right Wall. From the bottom of the rocks, walk left until you reach a big roof; this is the main area in Middle Wall. The bolts are located on the giant boulder on top of the wall. To reach this, walk around the corner (past the roof toward Tenderfoot Wall) and there will be a split between two rocks. Walk in between the rocks and up a short scramble until you reach the giant boulder. There are three sets of bolts on top of the wall. This is the safest and easiest way to reach the bolts.
