Hyggen is a small village by the Drammen fiord, surrounded by a number of cliffs. The rock is solid granite with good friction. There are over 200 routes in the Hyggen area in a wide range of grades. There are 4 major cliffs;
Hyggen Anilla - classic steep climping. Some rain safe routes under big overhangs.
Hyggen vest - lots of crack climbing trad style. Partly shady on hot summer days.
Hyggen Allegodtveggen (mellomveggen). Easy access, trad and bolt, best view. Crowded at times.
Hyggen Kinnartangrenna. Least crowded. Perfect on hot summer days.
