Description

Social Justice Warrior Wall is a small hidden crag about a third of the way in to Hidden Canyon. A fun place to visit with relatively easy access and nice views from the top, it has good rock with a nicely featured short SW face with some easy sport climbs (generally, as is fitting for the theme of the crag, the climbing here tends to be soft for the grade), plus the longer more challenging West Face, and a small but great bouldering wall on the north side.

Getting There

From the parking off of Burge Mtn. FS Rd climb the gate and hike in on FSR 048 for less than 10 minutes. Turn off the dirt road before the first hill on the left onto a small cattle trail, turn off of this before reaching the pond to bushwhack and traverse around to the left below the SW face. About 15 minutes total approach to reach the base of the climbs from the parking area. The smaller lower SJW Wall can be reach in 5 minutes from the lower road (pull out by the FS fire prevention sign).
