Description

Moderate chickenhead face climbing on great rock on the upper cliff. Three towers below the upper wall, and the upper tier offers potential for new climbs. Chickenhead face climbs, cracks and chimneys. Pretty good rock quality on the grey stuff, volcanoclastic conglomerate rudites with weathered limbcasts and eroded stones.

This area is under development. Everything needs to be cleaned on the lower third of the cliff so bring a big brush. The first arete and all the chimneys can be toproped and climbed from the ground, but most of the other climbs are best climbed by lowering in on toprope to the obvious ledges at treetop.

Getting There

10-15 minute hike up 200' ft of game trails. Park at last Y in the road or just uphill in the shade...From Glide go 9 miles up Little River Road past the Peel Store and the Cavitt Creek Bridge, make a left on Greenman Creek Spur BLM 70 and follow the dirt road up about 2.5 miles.
