The first crag developed at the dump with the shortest approach from the parking, and the best intermediate crag near Corner Brook with the majority of the routes being 5.10 to 12- in an athletic style. The wall is unfortunately broken by a large ledge, but there is some good, overhanging climbing to be had on well featured rock.
Like most of the dump, the rock quality is less than ideal. Helmets should be considered mandatory; people should not congregate beneath a climber; and a cautious belay is a must.
As for the Dumpwall, park on the road shoulder 2 meters past a big-trucks-entering sign at the top of the hill, just past the dump. Follow an obvious trail towards the cliffs, then at the fork (currently marked by pink and orange flagging tape, the right, pink trail leads to The Dumpwall), take the left (orange tape) trail that goes uphill along the right side of a small valley, then continues steeply uphill to reach the base of the crag. This trail is faint at times but has some flagging tape as of Fall 2024.
