Description

This section is the entirety of the large ridge line that runs into the valley and is visible from the top of the main wall.

Getting There

You can follow the directions for Bear Cave Gulley, then follow the climbers trail down the gully until it cuts right along the base of the Wave Wall. The trail continues right to the end of the Wave Wall.

You can now also rap down from the top of the Wave Wall directly above Highland Heatwave. As of September 2020 there is orange flagging tape that directs you down to the top of Highland Heatwave. Rap off of the tree to a set of rings, then make 3 raps down to the ground. A 60m rope will work but is a ROPE STRETCHER on the last rappel. A 70m rope is preferred as you can skip the first set of rings on your rappel.
