Description Suggest change

This is a well hidden boulder due to the namesake Juniper tree growing next to it. It’s pretty tall with several climbable faces.

Getting There Suggest change

Located on the hillside on the east side of the canyon just below the rim. From the fork in the trail hike north on the right hand branch, continue about 75 feet past the Ant Farm corridor to the top of a small rise. Leave the trail where it descends toward the streambed and contour to the right around a large split boulder. From the split boulder hike straight(East) up the hill and slightly to the left toward a very large, round Juniper tree that hides the boulder making it all but impossible to see from below. Alternately climb straight up all the way to the base of the caprock then follow it north for a short distance until the boulder is visible just below.
