Access Issue: Rock hounding fee
Details
GemField is a world famous Chalcedony claim and is mostly a rock hounding site. There is only a fee if you take any rocks from the claim, there is a small lock box on a sign at the main road split or you can go to a small gift shop in town called the Hidden Treasures you can pay there as well. The fee is only 1$/lb and it is all based on the honor system so please be courteous to the kind people giving us access to their land.
Description
8-10 boulders scattered across the claim, they are easy to see with almost nothing around them. Tons of open projects with a few high balls, lots to be developed. No shade at all during the day, bring lots of water, and watch for snakes and other wild life that sting and bite. The dirt roads lead you with in a 50 yard walk of most of the boulder with a few a little further out.
Boulders get all day sun so you can expect some choss!
